It's March 3rd
….it’s Nick’s 36th birthday, I’ve just been diagnosed with DRY SOCKET (well, ah nevah), and I am making him a Polish smorgasbord for his dinner- pierogies, golabki, veal meatballs, and, because it’s the Thursday before Lent, I got paczcki.
For those of you who don’t live in a largely eastern european neighborhood, that’s a lot of stuffed dough.

When I collect the week’s receipts for our budget, I love seeing that every time N went to the pet store or the grocery store, he donated to charity.

Laborious Day
As a proud union member, I wish you a happy Labor Day and hope you had the day off.
We are making the trek back from the Apostle Islands. I am that good kind of exhausted: sore calves from dancing for literally hours, sore quads
from hustling a tandem bike up hilly terrain, sore face from smiling, sore throat from singing at top volume. Hope your weekend was just as joyous!
Dillinger-ish
Just passed Little Bohemia, the John Dillinger hideout in the Great North Woods. Appears to be still operational.

I just checked my school schedule and I see that I have a certain local rock star’s son in my class next year. Can’t wait to meet his parents!
