I know it’s cliche, but I always jump at the opportunity for a little tilt-shift photo. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that I did this hike primarily to get a shot at a tilt-shift landscape.
SOMEone is about to slave drive me up a goddamned mountain. I wonder if I’ll cry.
My view this morning. It’s idyllic, for sure, but there is the underlying fear of nature that I have that was created about 10 years ago when I moved to the relatively bug-free, cold, industrial portion of the Midwest.
Example: everytime I go to the bathroom, I fear the famed ass-biting toilet snake that lives only in mountain cabins and beach houses.
Day 2: Fave shoes.
I know it’s kind of lazy and cliche, but it’s true. Reefs represent both a favorite season and a favorite time of day. I also get a free pass on this because I’m filipina.
Day 1. Self-Portrait. End of day, two pencils ended up in my hair.

Because Ally had a great idea and I have this month at home.
I can’t wait to see what you do with this.
Why not? I’ll jump on the bandwagon, too! I’ll be a day late….

It’s March 3rd
….it’s Nick’s 36th birthday, I’ve just been diagnosed with DRY SOCKET (well, ah nevah), and I am making him a Polish smorgasbord for his dinner- pierogies, golabki, veal meatballs, and, because it’s the Thursday before Lent, I got paczcki.
For those of you who don’t live in a largely eastern european neighborhood, that’s a lot of stuffed dough.
To make a better person
When I collect the week’s receipts for our budget, I love seeing that every time N went to the pet store or the grocery store, he donated to charity.
It’s like the makers of this series are inside my sister’s SOUL.
